The 2wd & 4wd Ford F-150 & Expedition platforms have brought great popularity to the aftermarket enthusiast and RCD Suspension was the first in the industry to utilize this new platform to develop sub-frame and spindle kits back in 1997. Developing these new kits for the U.S. Border Patrol gave us an upper hand in the design and development of this new technology with harsh proving grounds in the southwestern deserts of the United States. In 2004, Ford redesigned the F-150 platform to a "coil over strut" design and RCD Suspension stood up to the task. The new RCD 4wd F150 Suspension System was produced using a solid sub-frame spindle design with new Bilstein monotube front struts providing superior handling and performance. RCD Suspension continues to provide 2wd & 4wd systems for most 1997 through 2008 models.
