Like the robust 2500 HD platform, the Chevrolet & GMC 8-Lug platform has been a cornerstone for over two decades. The classic GM IFS suspension technology has been proven time and again to provide exceptional handling characteristics and performance. RCD Suspension, with its industry leading sub-frame and spindle technology, has capitalized on this platform to produce a high quality product that exceeds even the most discerning customer needs. RCD Suspension continues to produce these systems for all 1988 through 2008 GM IFS truck and SUV models.

The RCD 6" Suspension System for the 1999-2010 Chevy/GMC 8-lug, K2500 (NonHD), Yukon XL, Suburban, 4WD New Body Style includes: CNC machined replacement cast iron steering knuckles, T-6 billet aluminum axle spacers, zinc plated billet steel "Super-Flex" sway bar end links, replacement heavy duty lower link arms, rear coil spring, shock absorber relocation bracketry, Bisltein 5100 Series Shock Absorbers, with Delphi Auto. Note: no drive shaft modifications are needed for installation.

 

This kit is compatible with:

  •   1999 - 2010 GM K2500 Pickup Non-HD w/ Delphi Autoride - 4WD

 

This kit includes:

  -Front & Rear Crossmembers

  -Front spindles

  -Lateral compression strut kit

  -Main kit

  -Shock brackets

 

Wheel/Tire Specifications:

  Max Tire Size: 33" x 12.5" w/ no modifications necessary. 35" & larger x 12.5" require minor bumper and/or fender trimming.

 

  Max Backspace: 16" x 8" - 4.5" backspacing. 17" & larger x 8" = 4.625" backspacing.

 

Additional Information:

  -Vehicle manufacturing year must be after 8/2000 and have large tie rod ends. Models produced prior to 8/1/2000 require an upgrade to the large tie rod ends. Call for additional details.
  -Recalibration of the speedometer, ABS and stability control systems (if applicable) will be required by an authorized GMC/Chevy Dealer
  -Must enlarge lower control arm sway bar end link mounting hole to 3/4”
  -Will not work on vehicles equipped with rear steering
  -Some models may require an exhaust modification to clear the front drive shaft
  -Full time 4WD models may require additional modifications.
  -Factory shocks are re-used with ki/kit does not come with additional shocks.
