The Chevrolet & GMC 8-lug IFS chassis has been a mainstay for over two decades and continues to be the most popular application in the light truck market. The GM IFS system produces one of the best handling and riding chassis available to modify. There have been many body style and suspension refinements over the years. RCD Suspension, with its industry leading sub-frame and spindle technology, has capitalized on this platform to produce a high quality product that exceeds even the most discerning customer’s needs. RCD Suspension continues to produce these systems for all 1988 through 2008 GM IFS truck and SUV models.

The RCD 6" lift kit for the 1999 -2010 Chevy/GMC 2500HD 8-lug, 2WD Standard Torsion Bar Suspension includes
CNC machined replacement cast iron steering knuckles, T-6 billet aluminum axle spacers, and Zinc plated billet steel "Super-Flex" sway bar end links, and Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorbers.

 

This kit is compatible with:

  •   1999-2010 GMC C2500HD Pickup - 2WD

This kit includes:
  -Front & rear crossmembers
  -Front spindles
  -Lateral compression strut kit
  -Main kit
  -Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorbers

Wheel/Tire Specifications:
   Max Tire Size: 33" x 12.5" w/ no modifications necessary. 35" & larger x 12.5" require minor bumper and/or fender trimming.

  Max Backspace: 16" x 8" - 4.5" backspacing. 17" & larger x 8" = 4.625" backspacing.

Additional Information:
 -Will NOT work with Air Ride or Electronic Suspension Systems

  -Recalibration of the speedometer, ABS and stability control systems will be required by an authorized GMC/Chevy Dealer
  -Must enlarge lower control arm sway bar end link mounting hole to 3/4”
  -Will not work on vehicles equipped with rear steering
  -Vehicles equipped with two piece rear drive shaft may require 20-68747 Drive Shaft Support Drop Down Bracket for the factory carrier bearing
