The late model Dodge 8 lug platform has become a mainstay with truck consumers, especially with the Cummins Diesel crowd. The ever popular solid axle front end continues to perform well and lends itself to be modified with a good deal of aftermarket products. RCD Suspension has utilized its high quality design and manufacturing capability to produce a system that both rides and performs whether on the street or in the dirt. 

The RCD 6" Suspension System for the 1994 - 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 with Bilstein 5100 Series Shocks includes: Heavy Duty spring coils replace stock coils increasing ride height by 6"; 1 1/2" Add-a-leaf for the rear leaf pack and factory-style, rear block with U-bolt assembly (no stacking of blocks) to accomodate the 6" suspension system; RCD upper an lower control arms replace stock control arms along with heavy duty tubular track bar bracket and pitman arm.

 

This kit is compatible with:

  •  1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 - 4WD

  (Manufacturing date must be on or after 2/9/1994)

  -Main kit
  -Control arms
  -Coil springs
  -Add-a-leaf kit
  -Blocks
  -Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorbers

Wheel/Tire Specifications:
  Max Tire Size: 33" x 12.5" w/ no modifications necessary. 35" w/ minor bumper and/or fender trimming.

  Max Backspace: 16" x 8" -4.5" backspace. 16" & larger x 8" = 4.625" backspacing.

Additional Information:

  -Will NOT work with Air Ride or Electronic Suspension Systems

  -Recalibration of the speedometer, ABS and stability control systems (if applicable) will be required by an authorized Dodge Dealer
  -Actual lift height will vary based on engine and chassis combinations.  Vehicle equipped with factory “Off Road” Package will achieve 1” less lift than standard equipped vehicles
  -Welding is required to install this kit.  Welding should be completed by a certified welder
  -Drive shaft modification may be required
  -MUST SELECT APPROPRIATE PITMAN ARMS TO COMPLETE THE KIT INSTALLATION DEPENDING UPON YEAR OF VEHICLE
