The RCD 5" Suspension System for the 1997-2003 Ford F150 w/E4OD Transmission 4WD includes: 

CNC machined replacement cast iron steering knuckles, heavy duty one piece differential skid plate, machined aluminum front driveline and axle hardware, factory style rear block and U-bolt assembly (no "Stacking" of blocks) custom tuned front ride height adjustable Bilstein monotube gas pressure shocks that feature: A 4.5" or 6" ride height can be selected upon installation; and high quality, factory style mounting hardware that ensures trouble free performance on these load bearing shock assemblies.

 

This kit is compatible with:

  •    1997 - 2003 Ford F150 - 4WD w/ E4OD Transmission

 

This kit includes:

 -Front & rear crossmembers

  -Front spindles

  -Main kit

  -Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorbers

  -Add-a-leaf kit

 

Wheel/Tire Specifications:

  Max Tire Size: 35" x 12.5" - Minor trimming may be required.

 

  Max Backspace: 16" & larger x 8" - 4.625" backspacing*

 

Additional Information:

  -Will NOT work with Air Ride or Electronic Suspension Systems
  -Recalibration of the speedometer, ABS and stability control systems (if applicable) will be required by an authorized Ford Dealer
  -Verify transmission type by measuring transmission oil pan.  E4OD measures approximately 13” x 23” and is rectangular shape. Will not work on short style equipped with 4R70W transmission.  See part # 10-42097.
  -*Super Crew application may only achieve 4” of lift due to torsion bar system.  Maximum 33” x 12.5” tires on 16” x 8” wheels are recommended.  35” x 12.5” tires will require fender trimming.
  -Factory driveshaft is retained
  -Vehicles equipped with manual transmissions may not be able to use lateral compression struts.
